Company Website Design

Every creative designer has heard the term “make it pop!” from a client and it is important to really understand what the client means by this. Clients are giving their vision and direction for their company website design, but in another language. Most clients know what they want without being able to really describe it and sometimes will not know until they see it-“I know what I want and we are not there yet” can also be commonly heard. There is nothing more frustrating to a client than going through ten iterations of design work and the feeling that the designer is not making progress on the project. So how do you bridge that gap? One thing we do at The Creative Momentum is we ask many questions, align the design to the overall goal of the project, and then apply it to the company website design. If it is something targeted towards early adopters than we know we can make the design more modern. Another thing we do at The Creative Momentum is that we give options for our clients. By allowing our client to eliminate what they do not like, combine design ideas, or point out what they do like, we get to the end goal. Overall, our success has been attributed to this and we rarely go through multiple iterations since we take the time to really understand our client’s project. By understanding the strategy, branding, and asking questions, you can reduce the amount of iterations with a client and both of you in the end will be happy.
